Store Brand Infant Formulas Win Against Enfamil

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of storebrandformula.com for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

False advertising led Mead Johnson to a court battle loss against PBM Products, Perrigo's store brand formulas. Accordingly, Mead Johnson continued to disseminate mail advertisement to millions of consumers, claiming that their Enfamily LIPIL infant formula product is superior to store brand infant formulas. The advertisement was deemed false and misleading because store brand formulas contain the same quality and kind of nutrients that any other national brand has. Because of false advertising, Mead Johnson was presenting the wrong information to recipients (parents), that may or could have convinced the consumers to boycott store brand formulas. Circuit Judge Andre Davis who ruled the case said in writing that "PBM cannot fairly compete with Mead Johnson unless and until Mead Johnson stops infecting the marketplace with misleading advertising." As a parent, I want to express my personal opinion about this matter. When my daughter was an infant, she was fed with store brand infant formula from when she was 2 months up to a year old. Before we decided to switch her from the national brand formula to a store brand formula, we did a thorough research first about the latter. I want first time parents to know that all infant formulas whether they are national or store brands have to pass the FDA standards before they are displayed in store shelves. For a company to claim the their formula is superior than the other is absolutely not true. To make sure about it, all you have to do is compare the label of these products and see for yourself. My husband and I are advocates of store brand formulas. Simply because store brand formulas help us save more (because they are cheaper) and  we were feeding our child the best nutrients that she deserved at the same time. If you are a new parent and still undecided which formula to use, a research helps. For more information about store brand formulas, check this out: storebrandformula.com
