Evie has been sick since yesterday. We are not so sure about the cause of her throwing up because it usually starts with a cough. Her throat is dry and she's got dry cough. We've already experience this before wherein she gags after coughing, and eventually throw up. Yesterday she spat out three times. Last night, we had to get up three times too because of the same problem. The really bad thing about throwing up is the ejection of all the food she ate, leaving her tummy empty. Worse is, she doesn't like to eat. She's been eating apple sauce though, but not as much.
Today, we gave her oral electrolyte solution. Thankfully, she drank a good amount of it. It should help restores fluid and electrolytes she lost from vomiting and diarrhea. Yes, she just had diarrhea today too (not to mention the fever). If the throwing up continues tonight, it's time to take her to the doctor.
